Audra Ann McDonald (born July 3, 1970) is an American actress and singer best known for her television role as Dr. Naomi Bennett on the ABC medical drama series Private Practice from 2007 to 2013.
She played Susie Monahan, R.N. in the 2001 television film Wit, and plays Professor Carla Bonatelle in the 2006 television series The Bedford Diaries.
